The Digi4Live Case Study Showcase Webinar Series is back! Building on our previous webinars, this new two-part series highlights the latest developments, achievements and lessons learned from Digi4Live’s work on digital and data-driven solutions for the livestock sector.
The first webinar, “Harnessing Digital Tools for Animal Welfare, Breeding and Traceability”, will explore how innovative digital technologies and improved use of data can strengthen resilience and transparency across livestock value chains, enhance animal health and welfare monitoring, and support better decision-making in livestock production.
What Will You Learn?
In this session, researchers from the Digi4Live project present their latest case study results. Participants will gain insight into:
- How combining different data sources can support animal welfare monitoring and make livestock value chains more transparent
- How digital tools and automation can help track animal movements and improve supply chain traceability
- How sensors, digital tools and data sharing can support better breeding decisions
Each presentation lasts 15 minutes. A 15-minute Q&A session at the end gives attendees the chance to engage with the researchers, ask questions and share their thoughts.
Speakers and Agenda
The session will kick off with an introduction from Dr Jarkko Niemi, head coordinator of the Digi4Live project.
