Natural Resources Institute Finland (official name: LUONNONVARAKESKUS) is the leading research and expert organization in the agri-food sector in Finland. Established in 2015 by a merger of four well-known research and expert institutes, LUKE is one of the largest clusters of bioeconomy expertise in Europe. During the last five years, LUKE has participated in 55 major European projects and dozens of other international projects globally. LUKE is the leading research organization in the field of insect production in Finland. It is a strong multidisciplinary research institute that masters different perspectives of the European agrifood landscape.
Role in the project:
Luke leads the project as head coordinator, bringing to the table a diverse background and a team of experts spanning various domains such as animal and veterinary science, data modelling, consumer and socio-economic sciences, as well as environmental and socioeconomic sustainability analysis. With this wealth of expertise, Luke is ideally positioned to spearhead the project to success.
