The M3-BIORES at the Division of Animal and Human Health Engineering (department of Biosystems) will participate in this project. They focus on developing novel monitoring techniques for use in animal health and welfare. They actively teach these methods through engineering courses at MSc and PhD level, and carry out PhD and MSc student supervision in real-time algorithm development.
Role in the project:
KU Leuven will lead WP6 „Assess the effects of selected approaches & solutions“ and also contribute to WP2, WP3, WP4, and WP5. Furthermore, KUL will conduct Case Study C:Robust AI methods for sensor based animal tracking.
