Danish Technological Institute (DTI) is a GTS institute and a leading research and technology company. DTI employs more than 1,000 specialists providing more than 40,000 solutions every year to a broad area of companies. The center for sustainability and digitization provides advanced technical solutions to the agriculture and food industry to promote profitability, food safety and animal welfare. Solutions range from participation in basic research to development of TRL9 solutions for the industry and farms. Examples of areas of expertice include advanced computer vision and AI, automation for industrial use, and development of PLF systems to promote animal welfare and health.

Role in the project:

Danish Technological Institute contribute in WP2, WP3, WP5, and WP7. DTI will take part in creating the overview of existing policies, datasets and technologies (WP2), define and develop the case study of future traceability of animals in EU (WP3), and eventually participate in implementing results from case studies in the project.
